Binderlyst
Binderlyst is a free MTG card scanner and collection tracker for Android.
Binderlyst is for anyone with a pile of Magic: The Gathering cards and no proper record of what's in it. You scan cards with your phone's camera and the app builds a searchable collection with folders, prices, decks, want lists, and reports. It's made by one person, it's free on Google Play, and there are no ads.
What it does
-
Scan cards with your camera
Point your phone at a card and Binderlyst identifies it, down to the exact printing. It's built for batches: keep scanning one card after another, confident matches are added automatically, and anything uncertain waits in a review tray for a quick confirm. While it scans, it also picks up the card's language, whether it's a promo, and any special art treatment.
-
One collection, your folders
Everything you scan lands in a single searchable collection. Folders let you mirror how your cards are actually stored (binders, boxes, trade piles), and each folder keeps its own copy counts, so two copies can sit in one binder and a third somewhere else.
-
Conditions and prices
Each copy can carry one of seven condition grades, from Mint down to Poor. Prices come from Scryfall data in USD or EUR, foils are priced separately, and an optional setting scales a card's price to its condition. Non-English cards use their English printing's price by default, with per-language percentages if you want finer control.
-
Want lists
Keep lists of the cards you're after, with prices so you can see roughly what finishing a list would cost. A Buy missing button takes you to the cards you still need on TCGplayer. Those are affiliate links, and the app says so right next to them.
-
Build decks from your collection
A format-aware deck builder for Commander, Standard and more, with legality checks as you build. Decks know which cards you own, so you can see what you already have and what you'd still need to get.
-
Reports and set completion
Build your own reports with filters, grouping and sorting, or start from a quick preset. Set completion shows how much of each set you own, which is handy for spotting the ones you're close to finishing.
-
Backup and privacy
Your collection lives on your device, not on someone's server. If you want a safety net, back it up to your own Google Drive and restore it on a new phone, or export the whole thing to CSV. Nothing is uploaded anywhere unless you choose to, either through Drive backup or the opt-in anonymised community stats.
-
Make it look like yours
There's a set of built-in themes, plus a Custom look where you can change every colour yourself. The dashboard is configurable too: rearrange the stats, charts, and the Latest Releases carousel however suits you.
